As a 5th year student, I’d like to think I’ve nearly mastered the art of cooking for myself and I’d like to pass on my accrued knowledge to you this year. Here is the first bi-weekly installment of Student Cooking 101
Ingredients
1 tin of tomatoes 400g
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
100g grated cheese of your choice
pinch of salt (optional)
Directions
Blend or mash tomatoes put in suitable saucepan add everything but the cheese and bring to the boil stir till boiled then add cheese keep stirring till melted fully this will serve 4 people but i split it into 4 containers add it to your pasta of choice and stir in the remaining containers can go in the freezer total cost less than $2.00 for 4 people
If you’ve got some onions or peppers laying around too, dice ‘em and stick them in there for an extra flare! I usually fry mine in light olive oil to soften them up a bid first, but that’s personal preference. Also good to add if you’ve got it: chicken, ground beef, and/or sausage.
If I have to tell you how to boil noodles, you’re hopeless
