Dragon Boats, Bike Trips and states of emergency? Oh My!

For such a low key day the excitement around here never stops!

Firstly: If you are a unlucky soul who had to deal with flooding or other property damage due to Lethbridge’s brief state of emergency check out the city’s home page to see what help you can receive.

Secondly – Kelly, Brett and Vanessa all come down to the UofL on their ride through Canada to say hi! Ok, more than say hi. Sadly though, they left all too soon (as in this morning) and took our President and VP Admin with them. So, the question(s) now to ask: Will Adam’s hair be able to handle the rain, wind and sheer exhaustion of biking to The Hat? Will Brodie have to bust out his crazy martial arts expertise (from his THREE black belts…) to beat off bears on the road? Will Kelly and Adam have a fight to the death over who is the bestest ULSU Pres? ( It would be a tie by the way, there both the bestest!). For all answers and more! check out their blog, its pretty awesome.

Thirdly – Tomorrow and Sunday is Dragon Boat days in Lethbridge at Henderson Lake. Rain or shine everyone should come out and cheer on our Uleth team. Tomorrow at 1:30pm we race against the college, so deck yourself out in blue and gold and cheer us on to victory. I will be there, cheering us on, so come on out and join me for some true University of Lethbridge tomfoolery.
